A Poet with Nothing to Say, the new album to bereleased on April 2011,isway much more thanelectro-pop-psyche-rock.Cosmos70 sound is the result of several multiplelayers being merged intoone composition. They mix
electronic, analogue, andconventional instrumentationand blend distorted samples with live andrecorded lyrics. By avoidinga pure synthetic sound,Cosmos70 creates a warmand emotive music, ofteninspiring melancholy and
nostalgia. Their songs areweaving melodies orspeeches accompanied by atmospheric sounds andtense vibes to capture a specificmoment or mood.
The story began in the year 2000, when Michel Robiche(guitar), Didier Blanché (bass), and Eric Blanché
(sound) started to make music together in a trip-hop band. When the band split in 2005, Michel and Didier
started a new project: Cosmos70. The same year, they released a first EP on BEE Records. Several months later, Aurelien Pescher joined the band on visuals and artwork. Now, he also writes the lyrics and has joined the band on stage on keyboards and vocals.
