After the release of Hybris in 2014, Dutch composer/pianist Jeroen van Helsdingen now returns with Fusionesque.
The album was recorded in Portugal, and contains nine all new compositions by Jeroen van Helsdingen.
The westcoast fusion sound from Hybris has been enriched with new influences. Inspiration comes from the sounds of a marble track, musical, funk, pop and smooth jazz also. Included are Cuban, Brasilian and oriental rhythms. 
And if you dig improvisation, major 7 flat 5 chords and exploring the possibilities of the augmented triad, Fusionesque is a sure bet!
